Tormentata dalla morte della madre e dai continui attacchi delle forze israeliane sulla sua città, una ragazzina inizia a essere ossessionata dalla morte. Majdi El-Omari è un regista, montatore e sceneggiatore canadese-palestinese, laureato in regia e specializzato in produzione cinematografica presso la Concordia University di Montreal. Il lavoro di El-Omari si concentra sulla sofferenza delle persone in un mondo che le esclude, e sottolinea la loro alienazione, il desiderio di comunicare e la ricerca di conforto quando affrontano pressioni politiche o sociali. La sua filmografia comprende numerosi documentari e cortometraggi, tra cui Standstill, Between Me and You, At the Window, À Propos de l’autre e The Evergreen Oak. Majdi El-Omari is a canadian-palestinian filmmaker, editor, and scriptwriter who earned a Bachelor’s in filmmaking and a Master’s in film production from Concordia University in Montreal. El-Omari’s work focuses on the suffering of people from a world that excludes them, emphasizing their alienation, desire to communicate, and search for solace as they confront political or social forces. His filmography includes many documentaries and short films, such as Standstill, Between Me and You, At the Window, À Propos de l’autre, and The Evergreen Oak. Currently, he is writing his next feature film, The Woman of the Bees, and teaching fiction filmmaking at Dar Al-Kalima University in Bethlehem.
