Jacqui North (Jax) è curatrice e produttrice creativa di mostre, eventi, film e light art. Attira visitatori e spettatori nei siti storici con narrazioni, eventi e opere di light art. Sara Saleh è una scrittrice, poetessa e avvocata per i diritti umani impegnata in particolare nella difesa dei diritti dei rifugiati. Ha lavorato per 10 anni con Amnesty International e CARE International in Medio Oriente e in Australia. Autrice di tre libri, tra cui Growing Up Arab, Sara interviene sull’ ABC e l’SBS e scrive per Junkee e The Guardian. Candy Royalle era una poetessa e cantante queer. È morta recentemente all’età di 37 anni dopo una lunga lotta contro il cancro alle ovaie, e dopo aver pubblicato tre album e tre libri di poesie, tra cui “A Tiny Trillion Awakenings”. Love & Revolution is directed and produced by Jacqui North, written and performed by two Arab-Australian poets, Sara Saleh and Candy Royalle. Jacqui North (Jax) is a Curator and Creative Producer of exhibitions, events, films, and immersive light art. She attracts visitors and audiences to historical sites with story, events and collaborative light artworks. Sara Saleh is a writer, poet, and human rights lawyer committed to refugee rights who worked for 10 years with Amnesty International and CARE International in the Middle East and Australia. Writer of three books including ‘Growing Up Arab’, Sara appears on ABC, and SBS, writes for Junkee, The Guardian. Candy Royalle was a queer poet and singer. She died recently aged 37 after a long struggle with ovarian cancer, having released three albums and three books of poetry including ‘A Tiny Trillion Awakenings’. Saudi Arabian-born artist @Ms Saffaa creates a tribute mural for Candy in the film. Saffaa, known for the ‘I am my own Guardian’ series, was nominated for the Index on Censorship’s Freedom of Expression Awards.
