NAZRA PALESTINE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
Pursuant to Article 13 of Eu Regulation 2016/679
Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and in relation to the information that will be acquired, for the purpose of protecting individuals and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data, the following is hereby provided:
1. Types of Processed Data:
• Browsing Data: The website’s software automatically acquires data transmitted during internet use, such as IP addresses or users’ computer names. This data is used for website functionality, anonymous statistics, and verifying the proper operation of services.
• Data Provided by the User:
Personal and contact data (phone, email).
Data collected following the optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses of Nazra Palestine Short Film Festival or via messages sent through the association’s other profiles/pages on social networks, WhatsApp, Telegram, or other telematic channels.

2. Purpose of Data Processing:
The data you provide will be used for the following purposes:
• Ensuring the proper functioning of the website.
• Enabling website navigation.
• Collecting anonymous statistics on website usage.
• Profiling.
• Responding to received requests.
• Marketing aimed at promoting the competing work at the festival and its dissemination within the festival’s collateral activities and the general cultural purposes of the Association.
3. Provision of Data: The provision of data for the purposes referred to in point 3 is optional; however, refusal to grant authorization will make it impossible for Nazra Palestine Short Film Festival to accept the submitted work for the competition.
4. Processing and Storage Methods: The processing will be carried out in both analog (paper) and digital (using computer tools) forms, in compliance with Article 32 of GDPR 2016/679 regarding security measures, by the Data Controller and/or persons specifically appointed, and in accordance with Article 29 of GDPR 2016/679; in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, and data minimization, pursuant to Article 5 of GDPR 2016/679, upon free and explicit consent expressed at the bottom of this notice, the Author’s personal data will be processed and stored for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are provided and, in any case, for the period of time prescribed by law.
5. Scope of Communication and Disclosure: The personal data may be disclosed to volunteers, employees, collaborators, and suppliers of Nazra Palestine Short Film Festival, as well as to any subject to whom the current legislation requires communication for the proper fulfillment of obligations related to the general purposes of the Association and, in any case, within the limits strictly necessary to achieve the purposes indicated above.

7. Data Subject’s Rights: At any time, the Right Holder may exercise, pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679, the right to:
a) request confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning them;
b) obtain information on the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed and, when possible, the retention period;
c) obtain the rectification and deletion of data;
d) obtain the restriction of processing;
e) obtain data portability, i.e., receive them from a data controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and transmit them to another data controller without hindrance;
f) object to the processing at any time and also in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes;
g) object to an automated decision-making process relating to natural persons, including profiling;
h) request access to personal data from the data controller and rectify or delete them or restrict processing concerning the data subject or object to their processing, in addition to the right to data portability;
i) withdraw consent at any time (although withdrawal will render the execution of this Agreement impossible), without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
